Purported iPhone 5 Images Leaked

by Zak Islam on

Purported images of a fully assembled iPhone 5 have seemingly been leaked.

According to 9to5Mac, the images, which have stemmed from iLab (a repair shop), saw the latter assembling the unannounced iOS device via utilizing genuine parts from Apple’s official supply line.

A new 19-pin dock connector can be seen at the bottom of the device, joining the headphone connector, which, if the images are legit, has been moved from its usual placement at the top of the iPhone.

As for a potential release date for the iPhone 5, reports have suggested that it’ll launch mid-September in the West, while the other palpable period for launch is October (the month the iPhone 4S released last year).
