In an effort to grow its user base and advertise its new unlimited data plan, T-Mobile may be asking users to “bring your iPhone to T-Mobile.”
At this point, T-Mobile is the only carrier in the United States that does not support the iPhone. The company’s president and CEO, Philipp Humm, has actively talked about how the carrier would not be officially obtained the iPhone on its roster – keyword: officially. A recent flyer leak to TmoNews reveals that T-Mobile is looking to snag some new users with unlocked iPhones by offering an enticing $74.99 unlimited data plan.
This leak works hand in hand with the recent leak for a new micro SIM kit that T-Mobile will be offering soon. The micro SIM kit is advertised to work specifically with the iPhone 4 and 4S and grant users access to T-Mobile HSPA+ network for 4G speeds.
So, T-Mobile may still be the only major carrier in America that doesn’t officially support the iPhone, but it still is looking to get more than a few iPhones running on its network.
