As we approach the reported launch of the iPhone 5, more images showing the device by its older brethren have surfaced.
We’ve seen shots of the new iPhone’s design, shots of the components of the iPhone 5 and the 4S compared, and even shots of how games will look on the new iPhone. This is the first time we’ve seen not only the iPhone 5, but also the iPhone 4S and the aging iPhone 3GS side by side. The shot shows an interesting evolution in design language since 2009 when the 3GS launched. The iPhone 4S is noticeably thinner than its predecessor, and the iPhone 5 is even thinner yet.
The images, coming from nowhereelse.fr, give us a look at the front, side, and back of the iPhone 5 revealing the positions of the Nano SIM slot, volume control buttons, and the camera on the back.
The new 4-inch iPhone 5 is expected to be announced on September 12th followed by the product launch on September 21st.
