A new rumor has added credence to the speculation suggesting that the iPhone 5 will be released on September 21st.
According to Stuff, an anonymous tipster claiming to be a former Vodafone employee who boasts “insider knowledge” has detailed a slew of information related to unannounced iOS device. Firstly, the iPhone 5 is apparently set for a September 21st release.
Secondly, the source said that the white and black iPhone 5 models will feature 9-pin dock connectors. In order for the already existent iAccessories to work with the iPhone 5, the device will seemingly have a 9-pin to 32-pin dock adapter.
A 5 inch screen is also mentioned by the source, with the general rumor mill suggesting the device will sport a 4 inch screen. The iPhone 5′s price, meanwhile, is expected to be around £450-£550.
