New reports are indicating that the iPhone 6 will have production queues starting very soon, with 15% of the production load landing in the hands of Pegatron.
Mac Rumors is reporting that a collection of new information has surfaced from various sources indicating that the iPhone 6 will be prepped for release this September.
As noted in the article…
“Apple supplier Pegatron has received 15% of the orders for Apple’s upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 6 ahead of the device’s launch this September. The report also notes that Pegatron will produce a total of 50 million iPhones this year, which includes iPhone 6, iPhone 5c, and iPhone 4S units.”
This may or may not turn out to be entirely true, as some previous reports from the Liberty Times in January hinted that production would be split between Pegatron and Foxconn, which could still be true as we lead up to the announcement of the iPhone 6.
