A new Angry Birds spinoff called Bad Piggies is coming soon to iOS, Mac, and Android.
Just two months ago the developer of Angry Birds Rovio stated that they’ve been working on a new Angry Birds style game that gives the pigs side of the Angry Birds story. As the months passed Rovio has leaked information and offered a few glimpses at the game. Now Rovio has given the game an official launch date, September 27th, and platform, iOS, Android, and Mac. A post on the Rovio game blog reveals that a version will be developed for Windows Phone and Windows 8 shortly after the initial game launch.
The gameplay should remain the same as Angry Birds, using catapults and structures with physics based gameplay. Of course, we don’t know if there aren’t any interesting variations on the traditional gameplay structure of Angry Birds – who knows, maybe they’ll add in some kind of special mechanic like they did with Angry Birds Space.
