A leaked training document from US carrier Sprint has seemingly outed the iPhone 5′s release date.
Despite popular belief that the next-gen iPhone will launch in markets within the United States on September 21st, the leaked document suggests an October 15th release.
iSource, the, er… source who received the the Sprint Training Manual stated that having in-store support available on October 15th effectively means that Sprint will start selling the iPhone 5 on the aforementioned date.
Engadget added credence to the manual by stating “we know from our own tips that Sprint’s internal calendar is in flux: the provider may not have concrete plans until after Apple’s executives leave the event stage next week”.
Apple will announce the iPhone 5 on September 12th.
