iPhone 5 Components Leaked

A components list pertaining to the iPhone 5 has seemingly been leaked.

PCWorld claims that they’ve obtained a document sent to a New Zealand retailer that details the iPhone 5′s components. The components imaged in the leaked document apparently confirms the components showcased by repair firm iResQ (more leaked images from the company).

The document apparently from a trusted source, and was “originally sent by a reputable supplier of iPhone components in China.”

The document shows the iPhone’s two-tone rear panel, as rumored. The black version of the iPhone will come in grey/black, and the white in white/silver. The phone appears to be a similar shape to the iPhone 4/4S despite its obviously taller screen; however, the document does not say how large the screen is.

The battery is the same as the one pictured in iResQ’s images, and the power/dock connector is smaller than in previous versions of the iPhone, in line with rumors of a 9-pin connector.

There are also several flexible sensors that appear to be the ones shown in iResQ’s images.

There are also shots of some components that we have not spotted in images leaked so far, such as the phone’s vibrator and nanoSIM tray (microSIM tray). The vibrator appears to be more similar to that of the iPhone 4 than that of the iPhone 4S.

Apple will announce the iPhone 5 during a press conference next week on September 12th.
