FedEx is preparing for a “surge volume” event during September 21st till the 24th, which is the period the iPhone 5 is rumored to be launching within the United States.
Neither Apple or the iPhone was mentioned as the source of the FedEx surge, but, with the speculation regarding a September 21st release, we’re sure it’s related to the iPhone 5.
The leaked notice above shows that FedEx is seemingly limiting employee travel and training around during the aforementioned period. FedEx itself is usually Apple’s predominant shipping partner for orders within the United States.
