iPhone 5 Could Feature Music Streaming

Outside all of the new capabilities of the iPhone 5, analysts say that we may see a new streaming feature built in.

Recent iPhones up to now have consistently had one special feature that makes them even more unique; the iPhone 4 had a retina display, the 4S had Siri, and now we ask what the iPhone 5 might have. Outside a thinner and taller display and a more powerful processor we haven’t heard word of any kind of special features (other than maybe an upgrade to AirPlay). Now analysts say that the iPhone 5 may feature some kind of music streaming service much like Pandora or Spotify.

While this kind of service doesn’t seem like a huge step forward for Apple, and nowhere near as substantial as Siri or the Retina Display, it could do very well for its users. Imagine having access to the entire iTunes music library through your streaming service; even part of Apple’s massive library could outplay services like Pandora or Spotify.
