Apple has announced the release date for the iPhone 5, as well as its price.
The iPhone 5 can be pre-ordered this Friday, while a release date follows a week later on September 21st. It’ll launch in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore on the aforementioned date. It’ll launch in more countries on the 28th, while the world’s thinnest smartphone will become available in 100 countries by December.
White and black is the colors the iPhone 5 will be available in, while the specific models of the smartphone consists of a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB model. The 16GB is $199, 32GB $299 and 64GB being $399. These are all on-contract prices, of course.
