Apple has begun to seed iOS 6 GM (Gold Master) to developers this afternoon, allowing developers to work out the final kinks before the final version is released.
iOS 6 is right around the corner but before the final version is released Apple has released the Gold Master version to users registered in Apple’s developer program. The beta for iOS 6 has been available for some time now, but the Gold Master version is somewhat of a final version used to give developers a chance to work on their creations with certainty that nothing will change.
In one week the final version of iOS is set to be released to the public, with upgrades coming in just one week for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, the new iPad, the iPad 2 and the iPod touch. If you are developer interested in getting your app updated to support the upgraded functionality of iOS 6, then head over to the Dev Center of Apple’s website and download your seed today.
