NYNE has released a fully waterproof Bluetooth speaker called Aqua. Not only can you drop the external audio source right into water, but it will also float, so you don’t have to worry about it sinking to the bottom of any type of pool.
The Aqua has an IPX rating of seven, which means it is fully submersible under water for 30 minutes at a depth of one meter. Because the entire speaker is encased in rubberized material designed for floating, there is probably never going to be a time when it will be fully submersed under water for 30 minutes.
The speaker connects to your iPhone using Bluetooth, or you can open up the waterproof sealed connection port and plug in a device that is not Bluetooth supported using the 3.5mm jack.
Its battery power lasts up to 10 hours of continuous use. You can recharge the battery using the included micro USB cable. It also sports a waterproof silicon strap.
The Aqua also features a built-in waterproof speaker for making and taking phone calls. The speaker has a pause/play button, volume controls, and preset equalizer settings so you can tweak the balance of sound, depending on the type of music you are listening to.
You can get this speaker for $127.29 at Amazon.
