Alright, many know that when the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus came out, they swept through and made a nice profit off of their critical success, however, some felt that heat and tried to keep up. Many say that Apple copied Samsung, while others say that Samsung copied Apple, however you look at it, quite a bit of tech companies are still running the race with others, and it seems that Samsung got a new ideal up their sleeve.
Some rumors popped up recently about Samsung and their newest smartphone titled the “Galaxy S6 Edge Plus,” which was discovered by @OnLeaks, and Sammobile and they brought us some juicy info. It is said by them, that Samsung’s new smartphone will put some heavy pressure and will rival Apple’s bigger iPhone 6; the “iPhone 6 Plus.”
Looking at the top of the post, we see a nice render from @Onleaks, of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. However, the main design and model will simply stay the same from the looks of it, but, we do know from Sammobile that the screen will measure out to be somewhere between 5.5 and 5.7 inches diagonally.
As seen above, is a comparison of the regular and bigger smartphones, the image comes from HDblog.it, who put in some time in researching Samsung’s newest device. Looking into the specs of it, the new Samsung phone will sport a 5.7 inch screen, it will have curved edges, it will arrive with Android 5.1.1. The microphone button will now be on the opposite side, the volume button will be re-sized, and the rocker will be slightly re-located. Changes have also been made to the Home button, which appears to be smaller.
If we had to guess, we would say that the new Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will arrive during the yearly IFA mobile conference which is hosted in Berlin, where the company usually reveals their new devices. It starts September 4th and runs to the 9th. But, it could drop anytime sooner or later, only time will tell.
