A new test was put together by Lisa Bettany, co-founder of the popular Camera+ app, who posted up some nice images comparing the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s cameras together. The iPhone 5c, 6 Plus and 6s Plus weren’t included in the test.
According to Snapsnapsnap, the website shows each iPhone model capturing images in different settings. The list ranges from the original iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s. Bettany’s nice side-by-side photo comparison displays macro, backlit macro, and low-light photos.
The first image you see below, which shows colored pencils against a light backdrop, displays different macro photos across all nine phones.
The second test shows red gummy bears in a backlit macro shot.
And the last photo shows all nine capturing old coins in low-light.
After viewing all three images, what’s your thoughts on Bettany’s iPhone camera comparison? Do you think it shows a clear difference between each camera? If so, let us know which iPhone camera looks better to you in the comments below.
