As the world prepares for the launch of the iPhone 5, it seems that the iPhone’s original carrier is too.
A report from BGR today states that one of the Unites States largest carriers, AT&T, is preparing for the launch of the iPhone 5 sometime in late September. While BGR’s sources don’t have an exact launch date for the carrier prepared, they do have a prospective date of the last two weeks of September.
Additionally, AT&T is reported to be clearing a training schedule for a large training event in October. Apparently a training event was already in place sometime late in October, but it has now been rescheduled to the first week of October due to a conflict with a “huge announcement.”
While a training event in October seems a little behind for a device that is to be launched in late September, we only imagine AT&T is doing the best it can to prepare for the next-gen Apple phone to hit the US market.
