Sprint is now heavily discounting the iPhone 4S model even further as the iPhone 5 launch edges ever closer.
US retailers Best Buy and Target have dropped $50 off both the iPhone 4 and 4S. Sprint is now offering a free $100 American express Reward Card which comes with the purchase of the 16GB model of the iPhone 4S. If you apply the reward cad on top of the aforementioned $50 discount, consumers can effectively purchase an iPhone 4S for $50.
Apple has matched the offer by $100 in Apple Store credit if one orders a Sprint iPhone 4S. BusinessInsider confirmed the deal with an Apple store based in New York.
The world’s most valuable company is expected to unveil the iPhone 5 during a press conference on September 12th, with the release of the new iPhone expected a week later on September 21st.
