Angry Birds Star Wars is being released on November 8th. The title will combine the gameplay of Angry Birds and Angry Birds Space with the setting, characters and story of Star Wars.
Rovio CMO Peter Vesterbacka states,”This is the best Angry Birds game we’ve ever done. It’s the best parts of Angry Birds with all new cutting-edge gameplay set in a galaxy far, far away. As a big Star Wars fan myself, I’m really excited about this new universe. The Force is definitely strong with this one.”
Angry Birds Star Wars will be made available for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone, Windows 8, Graphing Calculator, Microwave, etc. One or two of those might be an exaggeration.
In addition, Rovio has partnered up with Hasbro for making new merchandise for the game including: plush toys, costumes and even a Star Wars Angry Birds Jenga Death Star game among others items.
