The popular mobile game, Pokémon GO, took the world by storm when it was first released during this past summer. The company, Niantic, originally said that it had plans on releasing an Apple Watch version of the game by the end of the year. However, rumors surfaced saying that the company changed its plans and cancelled the idea.
For those who were looking forward to the mobile game coming to the Apple Watch, don’t worry, the company has released a statement saying that Pokémon GO will still come to Apple Watch users despite being delayed.
In September, Apple and Niantic announced that Pokémon GO would be released before the end of the year. However, over the weekend, there was a Reddit post falsely claiming that Pokémon GO for the Apple Watch was “cancelled, due to low demands”.
To debunk those rumors, Niantic sent out a tweet saying that it will go through with its plans, but failed to release a date when the popular game will arrive for the Apple Watch.
Pokémon Go for Apple Watch is coming soon. Stay tuned.
