Apple has just recently joined partnership with the Artificial Intelligence Research Group, which already consisted of : Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and IBM.
The Artificial Intelligence Research Group is a non-profit group that was created by five of the top tech industry companies consisting of Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and IBM, each one of these companies decided to form a partnership to conduct researches, recommend best practices, and publish research under an open license in areas such as ethics, fairness, and other areas which calls for collaboration between people and AI systems in the technology world.
Just recently an update was made stating that Apple now makes the partnership group six, the group also announced that a Board of Trustees were also chosen to help aid in bringing diversity and balance to the now six member team. All board members will share equal voting rights. The first Board of Trustee meeting will take place on February 3rd, in San Francisco.
