It looks like the problems just keep mounting up for first-worlders. The newest gripe with Apple’s luxury handset, the iPhone 5, stems from a date and time malfunction, resulting in users getting some mixed time stamps.
According to Apple Insider, Verizon and Apple have been receiving numerous complaints about the iPhone 5′s time and date synchronization and how off it is.
The issue has spread like wildfire on the forums, but the interesting thing is that reports are only coming in from Verizon’s subscribers.
According to some users, Apple claims there’s nothing wrong with their software and it must be an issue with Verizon’s towers. Other users claim that Verizon has stated that they haven’t found any errors spawning from their tower signals and the issue must be on Apple’s end.
If you’re having problems with the date/time synch, some users have tried doing a factory reset but it doesn’t work for everyone. You can learn more by visiting the Official Forums.
