Another Major iPhone 5 Problem Discovered

It seems like the problems just keep mounting for iPhone 5 users. Apparently there’s a flickering problem with the virtual keyboard, meaning that anyone typing in certain keys and symbols will be met with the most unwelcoming flicker, but only very briefly.

The virtual keyboard issue has been present ever since the iPhone 5 launched back in September, mostly with users flooding the forum boards about the problem.

Apple Insider spotted the problem as well and attempted to replicate what users were encountering. After many attempts at fiddling around with the software, it appears that if you press the “.?123” button at the bottom of the screen in portrait mode, you’ll encounter the flicker.

Many users reported that they usually encounter the glitch when attempting to insert their password on the App Store and it’s not a consistent glitch, only appearing sometimes for some users.

One user has reported that Apple’s solution to the problem is simply to do a hard reset and it might solve the problem. So far, only iPhone 5 users are reporting this glitch as an issue, while others are saying it’s not present with the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S.
