Another leaked schematic has surfaced of the alleged iPhone 8 (sometimes known as the iPhone Edtion) which shows that Apple is about to make some drastic changes to the fingerprint reader.
The Twitter blogger Sonny Dickson, who has a hit and miss (more hit) reputation when it comes to rumored iPhone information, has published a new photo of the iPhone 8.

The photo shows that Apple has moved the fingerprint reader to the back of the device and has added a vertical dual-camera rather than sticking with the horizontal dual-camera found on the iPhone 7 Plus.
This photo confirms what the Pacific Crest Securities analyst wrote to investors on Tuesday. According to the research note, they believe the iPhone won’t feature the fingerprint reader embedded in the display. They claim that Apple is having a hard time trying to embed the new sensor into the OLED displays which will cause a delay in the shipment. In order for the device to ship in time, they believe Apple will have to move the sensor to another location on the device.
While this does link up with previous reports, it’s unclear if the photo published by Dickson is real or not, so it’s best to take it with a grain of salt.
