Some Major Apps Have Been Removed From The Apple Watch

Recently it seems a few major apps have been discreetly removed from the Apple Watch, such as Amazon, eBay, and Google Maps.

The reason why a few apps have been quietly removed from the App Store for the Apple Watch has yet to be addressed by Apple. It seems as of today, only Google has made a recent comment about removing Google Maps, this is what was stated: “We removed Apple Watch support from our latest iOS release but expect to support it again in the future.” Some users actually prefer Google Maps over Apple Maps, but for now, only speculation is left to try to understand why three major apps no longer support the Apple Watch.

A few have speculated that shopping on Amazon from the Apple Watch might have been a bit superfluous. As for the eBay app, many were surprised to find out this app was no longer available. Some users commented that they use this app to track their bid status from their Apple Watch.

We know that Apple is the one of the top runners in smart watch sector. Still why major developers stopped supporting it ?
