Apple and Charitybuzz have partnered up for the fifth year in a row to offer Apple fans a chance to have lunch with Apple CEO Tim Cook at the new headquarters Apple Park.
Fans will have to bid in order to have a free lunch with Tim Cook for an hour. The winning bidder will be able to bring a guest, but it should be noted that travel and accommodations are not included meaning the winner will have to pay to travel there. For those interested, bidding ends May 16 at 3PM EDT.
The estimated value for the luncheon is $100,000, and at the time of this writing, the current bid is at $125,000. Tim Cook and Charitybuzz were able to raise $515,000 in 2016, $200,000 in 2015, $330,001 in 2014 and $610,000 in 2013.
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, which advocates for social justice to create a just and peaceful world.
The winning bidder and their guest may have lunch with Cook before December 15 but it might take up to a year in order to have lunch with Cook depending on his schedule. For more details, you can head over to Charitybuzz website.
