Early next year Microsoft’s Office is expected to launch for iPhone and iPads. There will be a number of products available for iOS powered devices under the Office label, enabling Apple users to get a number of things under the Microsoft’s power-suite.
According to a detailed report from The Verge, they’ve confirmed through several sources that Microsoft’s Office products will launch in early 2013 for iPhones and iPads.
The first app will be free and will enable iPhone and Android users to view documents from their mobile phone. Users can sign up for a yearly subscription to Microsoft’s services to enable the viewing and editing of word documents, Powerpoint presentations and spreadsheets.
Handset users can expect Microsoft Office to launch in late February or early March of 2013.
