Thought all the iPhone 5 problems had been discovered? Think again. This time the problems for the iPhone 5 were uncovered by app developers, who noted that there’s a major problem with the screen swiping on the iPhone 5.According to Apple Insider, app developer CMA Megacorp first discovered the problem where diagonal swiping didn’t register properly on iPhone 5 screens correctly, resulting in failed recognition of angled swipes, especially for games like Fruit Ninja.
This caught the interest of Recombu, who opted to test out the lack of diagonal recognition when swiping iPhone 5 screens by comparing them to other iPhone handsets. You can check out the video below.
Unfortunately, the outcome is that the diagonal swiping feature is a problem associated with the iPhone 5 hardware, as the problem is not present with the iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S. This means that it’s going to be a lot harder to fix the problem.
