On Thursday, Apple seeded out the third beta of watchOS 4 to developers which mainly contained bug fixes and performance improvements.
While the previous beta of watchOS 4 gave developers access to a set of animated “Toy Story” watch faces, this beta update focuses on fixing a few issues.
Apple’s new operating system watchOS 4 will come with new features such as a dedicated Siri watch face which will inform users about calendar events, weather, HomeKit scenes, and the time when the sun rises and sets.
In addition, there are monthly personalized fitness challenges, progress alerts and other fitness features within the Activity app. The Workout app now has a high-intensity interval training option and a new interface so users can easily switch between different workouts.
Anyone who goes to the gym will appreciate the new Gymkit Apple announced for the Apple Watch which will allow the device to connect and exchange data with supported gym equipment.
If you’re a developer you can now upgrade to watchOS 4. If you’re not a developer, you’ll have to wait until the operating system is officially released to the public this upcoming fall.
