Apple’s newest 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pro models may feature a new Touch Bar and an expanded Trackpad, but they also lack features that some people may deem as necessary, like a USB Type-C port, that allows you to plug in certain cords and adapters to transfer files and documents.
Which is why this new case called DockCase helps eliminate those problems, since it has a USB-C already built into it, that you can easily just plug right into your MacBook. And, what’s cool about this particular case, is that it is made from a leather-like material lined with micro fiber, and a magnetic flap that helps keep your Macbook inside, while also protecting it from any nicks or falls when you put it into the case.
The bottom of the case also has an Ethernet, HDMI, USB-C, USB-A and SD card slots built inside of it, and even comes with an included USB-C to USB-C cable that can tuck inside the case when not in use. Which is a quite handy feature for if you ever need to travel or put away your case and don’t want the cord to always hang down.
Right now the DockCase for the Macbook 13 and 15 inch is currently on Kickstarter.com. So if you’re interested in backing it or learning more about it you can always visit its main page for more information.
