Forget toys and play things, what most kids want for the holidays is anything with a lower case ‘i’ in front of it. New survey data shows that the iPad and iPhone lead the way on the wish lists for a lot of young kids.
A new poll from Nielson, as reported by Venture Beat, details what kids are clamoring and begging their parents for as gifts for the holidays. Leading the pack is the iPad, followed by Nintendo’s Wii U, the iPod Touch, iPad Mini and the iPhone rounds out the list.
I have no idea what a kid would need an iPhone for, as I doubt they have important video conference calls to attend or product management spreadsheets to overview, but I guess kids who see parents with the latest gadgets probably want one just to have one.
