Apple is further bettering their supply to meet rampant demand as shipping estimates are now down to one week.
It has been a steady decline in wait times over the last couple of weeks. Originally the estimates were at 3-4 weeks, before improving to 2-3 weeks this month. Then it improved further to a straight 2 weeks and now Apple has managed to cut that time in half.
This is good news with the holiday shopping season rearing its head over the horizon. And Apple is expected to continue to roll out the iPhone 5 is even more countries in the following month, including the lucrative market of China.
The New Zealand store was the first to see the shipping estimate drop to one week, but that time frame has since been seen in the US online Apple store as well.
