Apple recently launched watchOS 4.2 which supports Apple Pay Cash for the Apple Watch. The recent release is identified as Build 155102.
On December 5th, Apple launched watchOS 4.2 which supports Apple Pay Cash, as well as HomeKit sprinklers, faucets, and also enhanced downhill snow sports tracking for third-party apps.
Now Apple Watch users have the ability to send and receive money from the recently launched online Apple Pay Cash service. With the Apple Pay Cash, users can ask Siri to send money to friends instantly, easily, and securely. Users can also request and receive money right in Messages on their Watch.
watchOS 4.2 can be installed on the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. To do so, go to General > Software Update. It should be noted that the Apple Watch needs to have at least 50 percent battery, and it has to be placed on a charger, as well as within the range of the iPhone. Once installed, users will find a new Apple Pay button at the bottom of a conversation in Messages. Users can now authorize and send payments right from the comfort of the wrist, and without the use of the iPhone.
