Apple Will Release The iMac Pro On December 14

Tomorrow is the big day Apple will launch its most powerful iMac Pro ever. If you’re interested in learning about its specs and where to find it, then read on.

The iMac Pro will be the first iMac to sport 8, 10 and 18 core variants. It is also said that Apple might launch a 14 core variant as another option to meet the needs of those who need a powerful performing computer without spending too much money.

The new iMac Pro will come with up to 128GB of EEC DDR4 2666MHz RAM, up to 4TB of storage and the option configuring a 16GB Vega 64 GPU.

Pros love iMac. So when they asked us to build them a killer iMac, we went all in. And then we went way, way beyond, creating an iMac packed with the most staggeringly powerful collection of workstation-class graphics, processors, storage, memory, and I/O of any Mac ever. And we did it without adding a millimeter to its iconic all-in-one design. So everyone from video editors to 3D animators to musicians to software developers to scientists can do what they do like they’ve never done before. Introducing iMac Pro. A lean, mean dream machine.

It seems as if Apple will also ship a special black USB-A to Lightning cable with the iMac Pro, which will be able to connect, charge and pair with the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard.

Apple will release the 8 and 10 core variants on December 14th and has plans on releasing the 14 and 18 core variants later in 2018. The starting price for the iMac Pro is $4,999 and will likely be sold at major retailers like Best Buy and Target. As soon as more information comes out about the iMac Pro, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
