Judge Asks Apple Attorneys if They’re “Smoking Crack”

Apple’s attorneys attempt to submit a 75-page briefing covering 20 witnesses with only hours of court time left, an enraged Koh asks if the attorneys are “smoking crack.”

Rather, she suggested that the only way you could think interviewing 20 witnesses in four hours was possible was if you were smoking crack. The full quote from CNET:

I am not going to be running around trying to get 75 pages of briefings for people who are not going to be testifying.

I mean come on. 75 pages! 75 pages! You want me to do an order on 75 pages, (and) unless you’re smoking crack, you know these witnesses aren’t going to be called when you have less than four hours.

Apple’s attorneys responded well, saying “Your honor, I can assure you, I’m not smoking crack.”

Regardless of the state of the attorney, Judge Koh was certainly upset with the request. Needless to say, the witnesses weren’t called, and Apple and Samsung have both rested their cases.
