App Sales Jumped After iPhone 5 Release

After Apple dropped the new iPhone 5 on stores shelves it’s been reported by marketing analysts that the apps for the iPhone surged shortly after the handset launched.

According to Venture Beat, the Fiksu App Store Competitive Index reported that the iPhone 5 got off to a great start and apps for Apple’s products got a pretty big boost in sales, as much as a 33 percent increase in sales after the launch of the iPhone 5.

This isn’t anything new, as apps have also received a pretty big boost when the iPhone 4S launched, giving app creators a nice surge in revenue due to the launch of the Apple handset. With the launch of the iPad Mini and the combination of holiday sales, app creators should be rolling in the dough.
