“Alto’s Odyssey” came to Apple devices a day before its initial launch day, which means users can play the popular adventure game for only $4.99 on their iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV a day earlier.
“Alto’s Odyssey” was originally supposed to make its debut last summer but was delayed. The company announced that the game would be released Friday, February 22, but instead released it a day earlier than anticipated.
What is “Alto’s Odyssey”? For those who aren’t familiar with the game, it’s a follow-up to “Alto’s Adventure,” and allows players to help Alto slide down mountains and vines while discovering hidden temples, dune, and canyons. The game features a new wall-riding mechanic which will allow Alto to ride a background wall if the player taps and holds the screen.
If you’re thinking about giving “Alto’s Odyssey” a try, you can head over to the App Store and purchase the app for $4.99. It should be noted that you’ll need at least an iPhone 5S, iPad Air, iPad Mini 3, iPad Pro, or iPod touch running iOS 11 or later.
