On March 27th, Apple will host an educational event titled “Creative New Ideas For Teachers and Students” which will be held at the Lane Tech College Prep School in Chicago.
At this time, Apple has not revealed its itinerary of what the upcoming event will present and discuss at this educational teacher and student event. The company recently sent out an invite by email to the press requesting to join them in hearing how Apple will have creative new ideas for teachers and students alike. The event will start at 10:00 a.m Central time at the Lane Tech College Prep School in Chicago.
Back in late 2017, Apple partnered with the Chicago Public Schools and the city colleges of Chicago to introduce its Swift programming curriculum “Everyone Can Code” program to the city. Apple has designed each set of lessons teaching coding from the basic fundamentals of Swift to a more advance concept of coding all by using a character in a 3D world.
The Swift program was developed to code for iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS, a few rumors are stating that Apple may use this event to promote the company’s hardware and software using an educational theme to incorporate its lower priced version of its 9.7-inch iPad which retail for $259, and the MacBook Air which retails for $799 to $899.
