Word Carnivale Launches For iOS

A new game from PlayScreen has just launched called Word Carnivale, the game sees players matching up letters to make words.

The game takes a carnival themed approach to word organization and lets players compete against friends to find and match letters to create words as fast as possible. You can grab a glimpse of the game in action with the trailer below.

William Volk, Chief Creative Officer, PlayScreen commented in the press release, saying…

“Word Carnivale isn’t about trying to find obscure words. It’s about speed and the strategy of bringing in new letters and forming new combinations,” … “We spent a lot of time polishing the game, creating paper prototypes, and going for spur-of-the-moment focus tests with iPad and iPhone owners. I think we have a very good game here – one you’ll have a hard time putting down.”

While the game is freemium, it’s not free-to-play. There are ads and they can be removed for a one-time fee of $2.99. You can pick up a digital copy of the game right now from the app store.

It’s free to play. That is pretty clear. Free to play apps can have ads. In this case, interstitial ads (static) after a round of play.
