Images comparing the face plates of the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5 have shown up on the web.
A post by iPhone parts company ETrade Supply revealed several new details about what is rumored to be the iPhone 5 face plate. The images show a detailed comparison of an iPhone 4S face plate and an iPhone 5 face plate. Previous rumors have hinted towards a larger screen on the next-generation of the iPhone, and these images seem to agree with that. The measurements show that the glass on the iPhone 5 face plate is 0.1mm thinner than the previous gen and has superior light transmittance. Along with a thinner and larger stature, the face plate on the iPhone 5 shows a movement in the camera port to above the the front speaker (which is also shrinking a little).
