The rumors for Apple’s next iPhone handset never come to a cessation. In fact, the latest rumor is that the iPhone 6 could use a fingerprint sensor.
According to Phones Review, they spotted notes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who believes that Apple’s acquisition of sensor tech company AuthenTec could work in Apple’s favor over the long run with adding sensors to future handset phones.
Kuo also believes that the rumors of a cheaper iPhone are true and that Apple could be using a cheap plastic to help bring down the cost of a new iPhone line. Of course, these are all just rumors and speculation and there’s no real telling if a cheap iPhone is in the works or if a fingerprint sensor will actually be added to the iPhone 6.
