A German carrier has confirmed the iPhone 5 will indeed launch next month.
Wireless carrier Mobilecom Debitel sent out an announcement to its subscribers confirming that the unannounced iOS device will be released to consumers next month. Their statement translated read:
In September, it’s finally time for a new generation of smartphone to go on sale. mobilcom-debitel allows you to find free e-mail about everything worth knowing about iPhone.
Fellow carrier O2 recently started to accept pre-orders up for the iPhone 5, with the device itself, which Foxconn CEO believes will put the Samsung Galaxy S3 to “shame“, expected to generate upwards of $144 billion.
The iPhone 5 is widely believed to be announced on September 12th during an Apple press conference, while an exact release date is pegged for September 21st.
