iPhone Beats Nokia in Global Internet Usage

Who uses up more internet bandwidth than every other smartphone out there? The iPhone, that’s who. Apple’s handset has trumped Nokia to become the number one smartphone in bandwidth consumption.

Wired has a detailed rundown of the stats, showcasing that for the first time in a long time, Apple has bested the best with the January, 2013 numbers favoring the iPhone as the phone grabbed 25.86 percent of the market share value.

Samsung was second place, with 22.69 percent of the market share in internet consumption and Nokia finished third with 22.15 percent, after a long run of enjoying first place for quite some time.
