Vodafone has sent out a warning to iPhone 4S owners prompting them not to download iOS 6.1 due to some major problems discovered.
Earlier today there were reports about an iPhone 5 battery issue causing the overheating of the phone along with the battery being drained rather quickly.
According to Wired, Vodafone UK sent out the warning today after the tech team confirmed that there was an issue with updating the iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1.
The notice stated that…
“Some customers may occasionally experience difficulty in connecting to the network to make or receive calls or texts or to connect to the Internet,” … “Apple is working on a solution to their software issue. These connection problems are intermittent.”
Vodafone has basically stated that if you’re using an iPhone 4S hold off on updating the OS until Apple releases a fix for the problem.
