After the recent outpouring of complaints regarding a major iOS 6.1 problem in conjunction with the iPhone 4S, Apple has issued a hotfix for the situation.
Some of you may have remembered that not too long ago the iPhone 4S got hammered with a major iOS 6.1 issue. Well, after Vodafone announced that users shouldn’t upgrade to iOS 6.1 until Apple fixes the issue, Apple went on and fixed the issue.
According to CNET, the patch fixes up whatever it was causing the issue to take place. The only thing Apple noted in regards to the fix was that it “fixes an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S.”
Now that the hotfix is out and about, it should be a safe bet to upgrade your iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1 without any problems.
