Earlier it was reported that a major passcode leak had been making the rounds for the iPhone 5 and Apple has responded, making it known that they will fix the leak.
Apple takes user security very seriously. We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.
The breach enables non-owners and owners alike to bypass passcode screens by using a flurry of nifty options to gain access to contacts, photos, media and more.
