Apple Will Fix Major iPhone 5 Vulnerability

iPhone 5 Screen

Earlier it was reported that a major passcode leak had been making the rounds for the iPhone 5 and Apple has responded, making it known that they will fix the leak.

iDB is reporting that All ThingsD managed to get a quote from Apple spokesperson, Trudy Muller, who commented about the new security breach, saying…

Apple takes user security very seriously. We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.

The breach enables non-owners and owners alike to bypass passcode screens by using a flurry of nifty options to gain access to contacts, photos, media and more.

The security breach has been spreading across the web since it debuted back in late January and now Apple is determined to put a plug in the hole, but could the damage already be done? Stay tuned for more information.
