Shortly after Apple announced that iOS 6.1.2 had hit the net-waves, it wasn’t long after that Evad3rs came to the rescue of freedom-seeking mobile phone users with the latest jailbreak.
IdownloadBlog captured the news right as it happened coming out of the gate, letting devout iPhone users know that iOS 6.1.2 would not stay clean for a long, as evasi0n 1.4 is currently available.
As noted on iDB…
If you’ve already updated to iOS 6.1.2, you’ll want to grab the new version of evasi0n to jailbreak your device. If you haven’t, and you’re currently jailbroken, there’s no reason to download it. Outside of 6.1.2 support, there’s no changes in evasi0n 1.4.
So there you have it. If you want a fixed up version of iOS 6.1.1 then grab iOS 6.1.2. If you want your iOS 6.1.2. and a jailbreak, grab evasi0n 1.4 but don’t expect anything more than a simple compatibility update.
