We’ve seen a lot about the iPhone 5; parts, mockups, and even the operating system, but we have never seen anything like Adam Sacks vision of the iPhone 5 in this parody.
Of course, we can say that we know that isn’t an accurate representation of the iPhone 5, but the concept behind the video does hold a little truth. As the iPhone has risen in popularity, so has the use of its camera and sharing photos on sites like Flikr and Instagram. As a matter of fact, the second most popular source of pictures on Flickr is the iPhone 4S.
Okay, so the video makes a few clever shots at iPhone users, but it does raise a point in the evolution of mobile photography. As dedicated cameras get more advanced and CMOS sensors for smartphones evolve we are starting to see the lines between professional photography equipment and common smartphones blur.
