Apple has unleashed the iPhone 5 on India but the smartphone is still having trouble taking over the east due to a few commerce roadblocks.
According to the Wall Street Journal Apple is still struggling to get the iPhone saturated in India, mostly due to the price and its inability to appeal to the lower-tier of the consumer totem pole.

Apple, has so far, moved 252,000 iPhones throughout December in India. The company plans to ramp up activity and have hired in additional employees in the region to continue to cater to the crowd.
