A new back plate mod by iPhone5Mod.com is now available. The mod changes the aesthetics of the iPhone 4 or 4S to resemble the look of the leaked back plate of the iPhone 5.
The $30 conversion kit is designed out of a “glass-like acrylic” and aluminum, and is based on the leaked back plate designs of the iPhone 5 and is available in Black and White. According to the shipper, the materials used are of the same quality as the Foxconn suppliers that Apple uses and has an added internal frame for durability and a heat sink sticker for better heat dissipation.
The back plate itself is said to be available for a limited time only, but only so they can avoid any kind of trouble from Apple. The back plate is available for shipping world-wide, but is on an additional week delay before shipping.
