Unveiled in Beijing on Tuesday, Huawei brings users their new smartphone. While many sources say “it looks like someone has taken a leaf out of HTC’s playbook.” The Honor 6 Plus which is a follow-up to the Honor 6 — shows off a dual rear 8-megapixel cameras, which is claimed to boost the effective pixel size to 1.98 microns for improved sensitivity, and thus adds a cleaner image.
According to different sources, they speculate and report that Apple will launch a low-cost 4-inch screen iPhone 6 in 2015. The smaller handset is said to replace the existing iPhone 5C. Recently, Gartner had published a third quarter numbers showing some specs and growth in the smartphone market, and a strong quarter for Apple. Mobile devices overall saw as many as 456 million sold with smartphones taking a 301 million portion of the matter, which comes out to be 66% (up 20% from last year).
Reported by the Wall Street Journal on Monday, Apple and GT Advanced have reached a settlement in their bankruptcy case. The settlement, which was approved by the court earlier Monday, gives the company up to four years to sell their current stock of sapphire production equipment in order to repay Apple.
